The outline is inspired by some of Herbie Fletcher classic designs. The board’s features show huge characteristics from both ends of the longboarding spectrum. A big concave through the nose running down into the back third of the board, flowing into a V inside a double concave,  contributing massively to the lift whilst on the nose and flow from nose to tail surfing.

The rails are key to this designs ability to surf this board anyway you like, with a lifted Apex in the rail through the nose gradually blending into a low apex of the rail through the tail, giving you great response off the tail when you want it and the feel you expect from a classic traditional design.

The combination of a wider nose, magic rocker and a rounded pin tail gives this model incredible lift, glide and stability on the nose, with the ability to flow through sections from anywhere you stand.

Ben's first competitive outing on this board earned him the highest heat total of the whole WSL World Longboard titles in Taiwan in December 2018. Of 18.07 out of 20.

Thunderbolt Technology utilizes advanced materials and technology to decrease weight while enhancing performance, flex characteristics, board control, and durability. Thunderbolt boards are 100% hand layups. They begin with an EPS foam core with multi-component carbon fiber stringer systems that produce engineered flex and twist for a more lively, responsive performance. Proprietary designs employing internal carbon fiber components are then arrayed in the deck and bottom of the deck for precise flex control and strength.

The core shield PVC provides flexible protection to increase strength and durability without compromising the flex and twist characteristics built into the blank. With ample carbon fiber and fiberglass in the deck, bottom, and rails, these boards both outperform and outlast traditional PU boards and other epoxy designs.
