The Slingshot Crisis V4 2024 Kiteboard has been known for a long time as Slingshot's most friendly all-rounder. The Slingshot Crisis is designed to guide beginners in gaining experience and to ensure progression for experienced twintip riders. The Slingshot Crisis is a twintip that's easy to ride. Its excellent upwind properties and forgiving flex, which has been improved this year thanks to the new thinner wood core, help riders of all levels make progress!
Compared to the V3, the V4 from Slingshot offers a bit more flex thanks to the thinner Atomic Wood Core for an even smoother ride. Flat water, waves, or the most annoying chop - the Crisis V4 ensures maximum comfort. The underside of the kiteboard features a Single-Concave Hull. This single concave provides extra grip and enhances the upwind performance of the Slingshot Crisis V4, giving the kiteboard a predictable and versatile character. The duralight base provides additional strength thanks to the .2 mm base material. The material has the ideal strength-to-weight ratio, allowing you to enjoy a sturdy kiteboard season after season. The rails are made of Urethane, with Slingshot applying the rail directly to the core of the kiteboard in one go to maximize strength. The inserts are reinforced with carbon before being attached to the board, saving extra weight. These carbon-coated inserts also provide additional strength and a more consistent flex under your feet.

THE DESIGN DIFFERENCE
A thinner Atomic Wood Core on the Crisis delivers more flex and forgiveness for riders of all abilities. The single-concave hull provides laser-level tracking and exceptional upwind capabilities. The Dura Light Base and Singleshot Fusion Sidewalls are utilized on the Crisis to maximize durability and dampening.
SINGLE-CONCAVE HULL
This time-tested bottom contour provides friendly tracking and great upwind performance. Ideal for beginners to advanced riders alike who are looking for a predictable and versatile shape.
DURALIGHT BASE
This .2mm base material has the ideal strength-to-weight ratio. Lightweight performance in a strong and durable package.
CARBON BEDROCK INSERTS
Light, flexible, and super strong, our inserts are reinforced with carbon fiber before being inlaid into the board. This reduces overall board weight, increases pull strength, and allows for a more consistent flex under foot.
ATOMIC WOOD CORE
Sustainably grown Paulownia wood gives boards a lively and springy character. The vertically laminated construction optimizes the collective strength of the wood and provides strength, durability, and consistent flex.
SINGLESHOT FUSION SIDEWALL
High durometer urethane and our innovative manufacturing process infuses the rail into the board's core in one single shot, producing unrivaled dampening and durability.
